The Heart for the World Auction is an annual event to help us think about big global issues like clean water, human trafficking, or the lack of medical care in West Africa. The goal is to learn what we can do to make a difference. While we’re at it, we have a lot of fun!
Volunteers help with all aspects of planning and executing this fundraiser, beginning six months before the event in March. Is this where your heart is? We have opportunities in the following areas:
- Selling tickets
- Recruiting donations
- Organizing donations
- Mailing thank you notes
- Facebook photo updates of donated items
- Food preparation and presentation
- Decorating
- Clean up
- Greeting/Directions
- Registration
- Table closing after each silent auction section is finished
