The internship program at Spring Lake Wesleyan Church is a three-month learning opportunity in day-to-day ministry. During this experience interns are exposed to a variety of ministry programs and operations to observe, participate and lead.
Purpose of Internship
Mobilize workers for God's harvest fields, both local and globally, for full-time ministry within the local church context.
Goals of Internship
We desire interns to learn though being a part of day-to-day church and activities. In this practical learning atmosphere, the intern will be provided with many opportunities. Our goal is for each intern to:
-
Gain practical ministry training, specifically in their ministry area
-
Get guidance and support from staff
-
Test their gifts and call to vocational ministry
-
Develop spiritually
-
Observe, participate and lead a variety of church activities
-
Learn more about themselves and God's leading in their life
