We have some great resources to help people who are struggling. If you know someone who can benefit from any of these services, please share this with them. We would love to help.
Individual, Family and Marriage Counseling
If you are in need of counseling, we are pleased to offer help. Pastor Ralph Baynum is our on-staff counselor, and in some cases we do referrals to trusted Christian counselors in the community. We will work with you to determine the most appropriate counselor to meet your needs.
Please inquire confidentially online about individual, family and marriage counseling or contact Laura Bakker, 616.842.9022 x329. Counseling requests are confidential.
Are you under financial stress? We are pleased to offer help and sound biblical teaching on personal money management to any individual or couple who needs it.
Our trained counselors will help you take a hard look at where you can be a better steward – a more prudent spender, wise saver, cautious debtor and yes, even a more generous giver. In the good times we all get a little lax. Crisis forces us to be more creative. Let us help you. There is no charge for this private, one-on-one counseling.
If you are interested in meeting with a Good Sense Financial Counselor, please inquire about financial counseling online or contact Terri Stewart, 616.842.9022 x308.
Food from the Pantry
A healthy church sometimes functions like a strong family. If someone is in need the rest of the family helps out. The Food Pantry (open Mondays from 9:00am-12:00pm) is one of the ways we show our love for each other. Just ask and we can put some groceries together according to the size of your family.
If your family is currently in need, please contact Contact Tana Anderson, 616.842.9022 x304.
