Spring Lake Wesleyan will be raising money for our Refugee Ministry, which will enable us to continue to support new refugees coming into the West Michigan area. Check out all of the information on the ride here. Grab a flyer in the Lobby Cafe or come to the meeting on Thursday, September 9 at 7 p.m. in W200 for more information.

Go the extra mile for eternity! - Join us for LifeWalk 2010 on Saturday, September 25. Muskegon Pregnancy Services/Best Options will be hosting a morning of family fun with a purpose. Set your own pace – a casual stroll, a brisk walk, or a speedy run! Last year 200 walkers joined together for fellowship as their pledges provided lifeblood allowing the Center to share the gospel of life with women, men, and teens in Muskegon County. These clients are hearing the good news of the gospel and seeing God’s heart through their advocates. For more information, to pick up a pledge form, or to sponsor a walker, contact Jane Word at 616.928.7860. Green Thumbs - If you have a passion for gardening and the welcoming message of a simple, neatly tended garden, we need your time and talents! Join our team of passionate gardeners who plant, water (and yes, even weed) the gardens at church. A few gardens are available for adoption by you or your small group; tend your garden throughout the season as it works into your weekly schedule. Please contact Karen Benson at kbenson333@gmail.com or call 616.846.7094 to sign up.
